Tropicália is a political and musical movement that sprouted as a reaction to Brazil’s darkest days: a brutal period of military repression and censorship. The movement was bold and vibrant, embracing the ‘weirdness’ found in modern art that shocked traditionalists and confronted authoritarian ideals.

In this project, the big challenge was to create a visual summary of a very dense topic, and one that I am particularly fond of. Before anything, I made sure to approach the idea through a creative and insightful way, built to be engaging by design, and most importantly, representing the cultural elements of the movement.
There's only one way to go, and it is forward.
